Green Line on Baltimore

Short thick white guy with a pug, both of you encased in sturdy black canvas: dog in a little quilted coat, dude in black Carhartt overalls (flap down), black sneakers, probably several black tops/sweaters/sweatshirts, heavy coat, and a great giant knitted black cowl that you pulled over your bald head as you went inside for a giant bag of croissants.

You fed the birds and your dog, then went back for your own iced coffee.

In terms of style AND stewardship, my friend, YOU ARE DOING IT RIGHT.

Tender Penn kid

I SAW YOU crossing the bridge at Locust Walk over 38th street.  You were very slim, in form-fitting clothing: leopard print thermal longsleeve T, skintight black jeans just above the ankle, below-the-ankle black socks (peds), maroon slightly pointy and metallic-ish oxfords.  Hornrimmed glasses and a poetic haircut (shaved almost to the skin on the sides, with a short scruff of pomaded curls laid to the side on top).

Lace, chains, and ELEGANCE

Doubleheader of WIN at the Fresh Grocer on 40th: 2 different men in 2 different checkout lines, both 50+, short-haired African Americans, both in muted colors, short-sleeve button down shirts, pants.  One had an amazing crocheted dickie-slash-lace-collar under the open button-down; the other had a handful of giant bright gold rings and 3 tiny diamond stud with gold chain loop earrings in his ear.  Gentlemen!  You are both DOING IT RIGHT!

Saw you on the street, walking with a friend on Chestnut around 10th or so.  Wanted to holler approval out the window at you, but I was driving, and I try not to harass people from cars.

You: slender, long black moist hair, loose waves, low ponytail; white T shirt; white socks; tight black ankle-length pants; black shoes; gunmetal shimmery overshirt-style blouse.

Crusty lite (part hippie--remains of tan cargo pants that match tan dreads) with a tiny fluffy puppy, almost all fur.

Best mohawk* I've seen all day: RAINBOW, with buzzed sides.  Coordinated with some kind of rainbow floral leg tattoo?  Not quite sure, but girl in black on 40th at Locust, YOU'RE DOING IT RIGHT.

SNOW BALLS

When I left the house this morning, car windshields on my block were elegantly frosted with snow.

And the car right in front of my house?  Someone had lovingly drawn a giant penis and balls in the snow on the driver's side windshield.  Presumably with a finger.
